Side Effects

Itraconazole is a well tolerated drug but it can offer some minor side effects it is used for prolong period. The side effects symptoms are vomiting, headache, nausea, constipation, skin rashes, runny nose, diarrhea, dizziness and mild stomach pain. Taking overdose of this medicine can also lead to some serious side effects such as fever, difficulty in breathing, numbness, impaired hearing, difficulty or pain while urinating, endocrine effects such as enlargement of breasts in male and adrenal suppression. Any of the unusual symptoms require immediate medical attention. Delaying infirming the doctor could even lead to life threatening situation for the patient.
